WAR!!
See the smoke
See the war
We won’t return to our families
To our treasured normal life’s
To my Son,
To my Daughter
For they will grow up without a father
For this I plead
I am so sorry
Oh the things I must face
For this thing called “War”
As the bombs explode
We get shattered with shells
As the gases seep out
Our lungs close up
We support the countries
Where our mothers gave birth
But is it right we shall give our lives?
It is not
It is unfair
It’s down right wrong
War is nothing
Nothing more then a pile of blood
Nothing gained
Nothing lost
Just many tormented families
The soldier next to me
The soldier in these boots
Hero’s of his nation
A dead hero on his land
